Our wicks are made out of cotton, are coreless, and dipped in a vegetable wax. Because they are coreless they are made to curl as they burn to keep the flame down. This may be different than you are use to. We recommend that you trim the wick down to 1/8”-1/4” each and every time you light your candle. You can do this by simply pinching the top off with your fingers (make sure to keep the trimming out of your candle) This will keep your candle burning virtually soot free. The only soot that comes from our candles is from an untrimmed wick – you can easily test this by putting your candle out with the top, as it won’t turn black. So please trim your wicks!
		NEW PRODUCT Looking for less maintenance – We’ve added a 14oz.tumbler to our Home Line. Due to the shape of the apothecary jar it requires two wicks, which some people like and others do not. Tumblers only have one wick and will require less maintenance on your part. So its up to you!
